Evig Natt started out as a project in Kopervik Norway in 2003, by Kirsten Jørgensen (vocals) and ex-Einherjer, Thundra & Throne of Katarsis bassist Stein Sund (bass/voc).

Evig Natt’s sound are unique, blending everything from progressive metal to black metal, and blend inspirations from bands like Anathema, My Dying Bride, The Gathering, Swallow the Sun, Moonspell and The Provenance without sounding like neither of them.

Amy Lee has been quoted saying that "Lithium" is about losing the comfort of sorrow. Lithium is a mood stabilizer that would take away the sorrow that Amy Lee holds inside but she is not ready to let go of it. She has lived with sorrow so long that losing it now would be like losing a part of herself.

Octavia Sperati took shape in Bergen, Norway in 2000 as a result of new friendships and common musical preferences. Sharing a general interest in heavy metal, the original band members met through the local metal scene. Getting to know each other, and getting along really well, they decided form their own band. The group released their debut album Winter Enclosure in 2005.

Kerli Kõiv

Kerli was born in Tartu County, Estonia in the town of Elva. As a child, she studied ballroom dancing for eight years, practicing five days a week. She began writing stories, mini books, and poems at the age of 10 to escape from her "abusive" household to an "imaginary world". At the age of 16, Kerli moved to Stockholm where she competed in Melodifestivalen in 2003. At the age of 18, she moved to the United States where she continued to perform and write songs, ultimately getting an audition with L.A. Reid, who signed her to Island Def Jam Music Group in 2006.

Émilie Simon began her musical education at a French conservatory at 7 years old. By age 18, she was studying Musicology at the University in Montpellier, France, and then obtained her Master in Musicology at the Sorbonne in Paris. Her first concert was given at l'Ubu in Rennes, France. 

On 1 July 2005, at the Eurockéennes of Belfort, she gave a live concert with the participation of Synfonietta de Belfort and the Lyon percussion group. She then toured with Placebo, doing the first part of their tour from 29 September 2006 until the 4 December 2006. Later she began touring at numerous concerts abroad, in Germany, Australia and the U.S.

Lunascape

Vocalist: Kyoko Baertsoen

Lunascape was founded in Belgium  in 1998 by Kyoko Baertsoen and Walter Hilhorst after they met at the television and film academy in Brussels in 1993. They began working on small-scale musical projects at that time, Citing influences ranging from goth pioneers The Sisters of Mercy and Bauhaus to psychedelic acts like Pink Floyd to the ethereal pop of the Cocteau Twins, Lunascape create lush, moody soundscapes, dominated by Kyoko's distinctive ethereal vocals.
